Overview
Rediscover the wild woman inside you. The world of “bushcraft” can often be dominated by men, and although well intentioned, for some can feel exclusive and intimidating.
Here, we are offering a safe space for women to step forward and invite you to push into your edges and try things you always wanted to, but never felt you could. Our aim is to give you the encouragement and confidence you need to learn new skills discover what you are capable of!
Under the skilled and experienced guidance of our team, we invite you to learn wood chopping, fire lighting, whittling, wild crafts, and cooking over a fire. Come and delve into your curiosities, sleep under the stars and sing!
We will balance the teaching of new skills with a deep respect and connection with nature and a focus on creating a village between us as a supportive community of women. Sharing stories and songs in a beautiful ancient beech woodland setting.
*Open to everyone who identifies as female or non-binary.

Essential Information
You will need to bring:
- A tent and sleeping gear (bag/mat)
- NB Tents may be hired on request
- Food for 2 x lunches and any additional snacks/luxury foods
Elena is your event leader.
Elena was the co-founder of Wildlings; an outdoor based home education setting in the Chilterns. She participated in WildWise’s outdoor leadership programme Call of the Wild 2017, and since then continued to train and volunteer with WildWise until being given an instructor position in 2020. She is a qualified level 3 Forest School leader and has also trained in bushcraft with Ray Mears’ company Woodlore. She home educated her 2 children focusing on nature connection, consent-based education and NVC resolution. She is passionate about reconnecting people with the land, indigenous knowledge and nature-based practices and crafts.
Simple breakfasts, evening meals and refreshments throughout the day are available.
