summer wild nights out

“Must we always teach our children with books? Let them look at the mountains and the stars up above. Let them look at the beauty of the waters and the trees and flowers on earth. They will then begin to think, and to think is the beginning of a real education”
– David Polis

About the venue

The event takes place at our wild meadow riverside site near Newbridge on Dartmoor. Being in a beautiful wild place, and off grid, on Dartmoor means there is no permanent infrastructure, electricity or running water. Structures are erected for the event and facilities are relatively basic. We provide shelter, kitchen, activity & toilet tents plus cold and hot water for drinking and washing.  There are also permanent toilet facilities a few minutes away at Newbridge car park.
