BIRTHDAYS

Create a unique & memorable outdoor event to celebrate your or someone else’s birthday…  Whether for an adult or older child, we can put together a range of activities to suit. 

Our unique birthday experiences are full of skills & challenges, fun & games and stories incorporating elements of bushcraft, nature awareness and crafts, adapted to suit the age and interest of the group.

Half to full day or overnight events can be arranged. These might be hosted at our riverside wild meadow venue on Dartmoor OR at other private sites local to Totnes/Dartington (subject to availability & additional fees) OR we can come to your private venue/land (if a suitably resourced outdoor space is available).

Our event could stand alone or, if at your venue, could work around other activities or entertainment you may have lined up e.g. crafts; music; well being experiences…

Price: (half day) from £275  + any site fee and travel expenses (if applicable).

STAG NIGHTS

Stag Nights with a difference: where you can experience a potent connection to the natural world, a great sense of community, a sense of achievement and mark this transition into a different phase of life. Possibilities incude overnight or whole weekend events, canoe trips, learning tracking, firecraft, or how to skin a deer. We can tailor events to your preferences.

The focus for our stag events is not on drinking and whilst some drinks around the campfire and/or at the pub will be expected we believe in much more than the standard, superficial stag night ‘package’ to make it both fun and meaningful. For example, we can offer some facilitated campfire dialogue and/or some traditional storytelling to focus attention and enrich the experience. 

PRICES: up to 24hrs camping from £95 per person inc. supper and breakfast (Min charge £500), £125 for canoeing (min charge £650 overnight)

HEN PARTIES

Hen parties with a natural twist, get out onto the land, learn crafts, bushcraft skills or simply enjoy being on wild Dartmoor or paddling up the beautiful river Dart. We provide a safe space for you to step into this new chapter of life and tailor events to your preferences.

We can also provide evening storytelling and short skills sessions as part of your already organised weekend away. If you want a small taster rather than a whole weekend out doors please contact us to find out prices and travel availability.

CANOE TRIPS

Choose from private day, evening or overnight paddles on the beautiful River Dart. Spend as long or as little time as you want paddling on the serene river, occasionally hopping out to wander along the bank and perhaps find what wild food is on offer or learn how to light your own fire. On overnight canoe camps wake early and paddle the river in the dawn mist or explore by moonlight and perhaps catch a glimpse of Phosphorescence .

We provide all canoe equipment, bouyancy aids, paddles, tents, cooking equipment if needed as well as fully qualified canoe instructors with the option of campfire storytelling if you wish.

PRICES: Day paddles for approx. 6 hours cost £65 per person (minimum charge £400)
Overnight paddles to include camp supper and a simple breakfast cost £125 per person (minimum charge £650)

You can also stop off to enjoy some of Devon’s beautiful local pubs or cafes, opting to eat there instead – price changes with this option. Please contact us for more information as we are always happy to tailor our events to your needs and budget where possible.

WILD CAMPS

Choose your base: on the moor, on the river, by the sea or in the woods! From there we’ll help you create a blend of adventure, learning, exploration, discovery and excitement!

It can include: survival skills; food foraging & cooking; firecraft; woodcraft; canoeing; sea kayaking plus wildlife tracking & nature awareness with storytelling by firelight … your imagination is your only limitation (and we’ll help you break through that!)

We have created camps for kids and camps for adults; from a few hours to nights and days; with both external and internal discovery; to relax and to stretch you.

If its possible, we can create it – we have even curated a series of wild experiences for a real princess!
