This 2 day course is suitable for those working in (or planning to work in) Environmental Education such as Forest School Teachers, Outdoor Activity Instructors (as a requirement for keeping ML, SPA and BCU qualifications in date) etc and those interested in being able to respond to those ill or injured in a potentially remote situation.

COURSE LEADER: Hugh Bourne
Hugh Bourne is an experienced & qualified Outdoor First Aid Trainer with MSc in Wildlife Management, an Advanced Certificate in Deer Management, a PGCE, First Aid Trainer in Outdoor, Forest School and Paediatric as well as FAW and EFAW courses
Timings to be confirmed but typically 9am to 5.30pm. There is a lot to cover in the 2 days so we do ask participants to arrive in good time for a prompt start.
The course will take place outdoors (as well as indoors) so please dress for all weathers, ideally wear layers, sturdy footwear and bring waterproof outers.
