We hope you are managing to stay well and that with a widespread vaccination programme well underway the situation will continue to improve.
There has never been a better time to get outdoors and immerse yourselves in nature and we will continue to offer exciting and varied nature connection programmes to you and your family.
Our 2022 public event dates are online and we also have lots of courses as part of our training programme. As covid is ever present some elements are difficult to predict and so occasional adjustments including date changes may be required. Please check back regularly to view any changes.
We would like to assure all of our customers that we aim to provide the best and safest service possible and will continue to keep abreast of updates from the Government and Public Health England, following their advice and guidelines and adapting our programmes and processes accordingly.
WildWise will operate strict hygiene protocols to maintain toilet and kitchen areas, including extra hand-washing stations and access to hot water for sanitation. Staff will invigilate around social distancing issues and are aiming to strike the right balance between safety and practicalities. The outdoor environment is deemed to be much healthier than indoors, and we believe the risk to be very low for our staff and participants.
WildWise leaders are asking participants to adhere to the latest social distancing guidelines and to take hygiene precautions such as regularly washing hands for at least 20 seconds; bringing and regularly using hand sanitiser; using a tissue when sneezing and disposing of it safely; coughing into the crook of your elbow etc
To minimise the risk of cross contamination we will also be asking participants not to share/borrow our or each other’s kit. We recommend instead that participants bring/use their own camping kit; accessories; plate, bowl, cup & cutlery etc
In short we have been following the latest government guidelines to do our best to keep everyone safe. We will also be asking participants to do their bit by co-operating the latest advice and by taking responsibility for their own health and well-being.
Please get in touch by email if you have any questions or would like further detail.
At this point in the pandemic, our standard booking terms & conditions apply (see below).
So for WildWise Events Ltd short events, courses and camps:
If the booking is cancelled by the client (for any reason) the following cancellation charge will arise:
a) Cancellation more than 4 weeks* before the Event starts the deposit is forfeited. Where no deposit has been paidents our equivalent standard deposit charge will be forfeited as follows:
– £75 for public bookings

– £250 for private bookings of £750 or over
b) Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the Wild Event 100% of the fee is payable
The client acknowledges that it is reasonable for such penalties to arise given the need for WildWise to make preparations for a Wild Event substantially in advance of the date of the event.
For WildWise Enterprises CiC longer programmes
Due to the length, cost, resources and extended planning required for the longer programmes i.e. leadership training and/or mentoring courses such as Call of the Wild, Bringing the Bones, Wild Time or Wolf Pack, the cancellation/notice period is a minimum of 6 weeks from the start date and the deposit amount is higher – usually between £100-£250 per programme. Please check the webpage for the specific programme for details.
Please get in touch if you have any queries or concerns on the above.
Unfortunately we are unable to refund or automatically credit fees for covid related cancellations. However If you do get a confirmed positive test result and are required to isolate, we will under some circumstances endeavour to transfer your booking to a subsequent date or provide a place on the following year’s programme, subject to a rebooking fee. This is dependent on the econimy of the course or programme in questions.
If you are concerned about our T&Cs and specifically the financial commitment of course fees at this time we would recommend that you take out appropriate insurance to cover those eventualities.
Thank you for your understanding.
